CUBS TERRITORY: Anderson Union High School Principal Scott booth and Mike Boban buy school a new sign at the bottom of the Ferry Street hill.

There have been many changes made to Anderson Union High School in the past few months and one more was completed Sept. 4 - a sign at the bottom of the hill on Ferry Street announcing Anderson Union High School Home of the Cubs.

This is Principal Scott Booth's surprise and his brother-in-law Mike Boban and Mike Boban's Construction's gift to the high school.

"Scott called me and said the high school didn't have a sign and needed one, so I said okay," recalls Boban.

There was a push to have the sign up in time for the centennial and it took two weeks worth of work in the grueling heat, but Boban and his crew managed to do it.

"Now you'll know the school's on top of the hill," said Boban.
