The 13th annual Latino Family Festival was held in Anderson River Park on Sunday, Sept. 13. Each year, the event grows larger. Food and entertainment are always part of the mix with approximately 2,000 attending some or all of the events between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.

As always, there were a variety of services to help families become more aware of health issues and services that are available in the community were on display. At the Gaia Hotel Amphitheater, traditional music and dances were performed by several groups of children and youths.

And in the grassy area near the amphitheater parking lot, Hispanic cowboys (<I>jinetes</I> for <I>horsemen</I>) performed with their Andalusian stallions.
