Pat Allison has always had a passion for education. After graduating from Anderson High School in in 1970, she attended Chico State earning her Bachelors Degree in Education. In 2008 Allison earned her Masters Degree in Education on line.

Before Allison became the principal at New Technology High School five and a half years ago, she taught English for seven years at West Valley High School. Allison has a strong relationship with her teachers and secretaries at New Technology High School and feels that she couldn't ask for better people to work with.

Allison spends many hours working one on one with her students teaching them life skills and helping them grow into capable young adults.

Besides being the principal at New Technology High School, Allison helped co-chair the Anderson Centennial Celebration along with Jean King of Redding. Allison felt that the Centennial turned out fabulous and was well attended by those that were able to come to the event.

In the future, Allison would possibly like to retire in approximately six years.
