On September 18, the Moscow Ballet held audition at Studio 8 Dance Company off Industrial Way in Anderson.

"It went well and all the kids had a good time," said Jessica Dean an instructor at Studio 8. "We didn't have the turn out we were hoping for. We were expecting 60 kids, but had only 20, but we will make it work."

According to Dean, they had received flyers, but the flyers had the wrong date on them, so she made her own flyers and tried to pass them out, hoping people would see them. She also said it was brought to her attention that the TV commercial had been advertising the Studio 8 as being off of Industrial Street in Redding and not Anderson.

This is the first year Studio 8 has participated in the Moscow Ballet auditions.
