The Lady Eagles had a good week in tennis, they won both their match against Central Valley and Anderson.

"Natalie McAuliffe, Kaylin Miner, and Holly Dethero really stepped up this week filling in at five and six for Allison Tucker, who was sick and was out number six, who quit," said Tennis Coach Tom Wyrick. "Eta Ecenbarger really, really did a great job for Allison, winning both her matches in really tough, tight, close matches."

Even though the weather was at and above 100 degrees this past week, West Valley looked sharp and poised on the tennis court, leading many of their matches early.

"Cassie DeBonis is looking like she has a chance to defend her NAL title from last year if she can stay healthy and determined as always," said Wyrick.

DeBonis and Taylor Needham also dominated their doubles matches going 8-0 against Anderson and 8-1 against Central Valley.
