Redding police arrested four teens after responding to a report of a car vs. parked car accident on Shirley Lane in Redding around 3 a.m. Wednesday.

Officers said a car hit a parked pickup truck, moving the truck 20 feet and causing moderate damage to the back end. The impact caused major damage to the car's front end, officers said.

Neighbors pointed to another car driving from the scene and told officers it was involved with the accident, police said.

The departing car was pulled over and officers determined one of the passengers, Jessica Lee Harvey, 18 of Anderson, had been driving the car that crashed into the pickup, police said. She was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Three others in the car were arrested also. Jose Mendoza, 18, of Redding, was arrested on a warrant, Derek Burtner, 18, and Dylan Lane, 19, both of Redding, were arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.
