The League Of Women Voters is sponsoring a Candidates Forum for the 11 candidates seeking election to the Anderson Fire Protection District's board.
The candidates forum seeks to provide an opportunity for the citizens of Anderson to become familiar with the candidates.
During the forum, each candidate will speak for two minutes on his or her background, areas of concern and reasons for running.
The Candidates Night will be held from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8, in the Community Room at Anderson City Hall.
