KEVIL KUCHLE

After graduating from Mercy High School with the Class of 1989 in Red Bluff, Kevil Kuchle began attending the California State University in Chico, taking general education classes.

She then transferred to Butte Community College, taking her prerequisite classes for a degree in dental hygiene. Part of the way through, Kuchle changed her focus of study. Kuchle's oldest brother is a chiropractor, she began learning from him, then realized that was the field she really needed to be working in.

Kuchle attended massage school at the New Life Institute of Massage in Redding. Kuchle has been a Certified Massage Professional for nearly 10 years.

After living in Cottonwood for the past 12 years, Kuchle purchased a tanning booth and other equipment from Zeta Herman of Mane Street Hair. She then opened up Harmony Health Spa close to two years ago.

Kuchle specializes in deep tissue massage, and reflexology. She enjoys working with her clients in Cottonwood and at her brother's chiropractic office in Red Bluff.

All of Kuchle's advertising is through word of mouth, referrals and the sign above her office on Front Street. Kuchle loves her job and helping people feel better.

"I love hearing and seeing positive changes in health and emotional well being because of the work I do," said Kuchle. "Not a day goes by that doesn't remind me why I do what I do. I love my job."

Kuchle's oldest and youngest brothers are both chiropractors and her sister is a massage therapist. They are always learning new things and ways to keep people healthy. Kuchle works 15 hours a week between Harmony Health Spa and her brother's chiropractic office in Red Bluff.

Kuchle and her husband recently bought "Little Country Market" in Lake California and are enjoying the experience of running the small community store.
