The Lady Eagles (No. 7) fell behind early on, but managed to keep the Lady Grizzlies within scoring distance, but by the end of the second quarter No. 2 Lassen had added to their lead by 11 points.
West Valley would need to start hitting their shots and pulling in more rebounds to catch up. In the fourth quarter the Lady Eagles scored 15 points and tried to cut down the deficit the Lady Grizzlies had created, but it was too late.
Taylor Trabold had 10 points and Ashley Vitellaro added eight for West Valley.
