Mosquito Serenade — Wednesdays, 7 p.m. at amphitheater in Anderson River Park on Rupert Rd. in Anderson. Free, outdoor concert series. On June 23, Incendio plays high-energy fusion latin guitar music. On July 3, the Jim Dyar Band plays folk and country at Anderson Explodes! event at Shasta District Fair grounds, 1890 Briggs Rd. Youth Activities

Swimming classes — Registration at Anderson City Hall. $27 for daily, 40-minute sessions for two weeks. Sessions will run June 28-July 9, July 12-23, and July 26-Aug. 6 at Anderson Union High School pool. Times offered are 10:45 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. For information, 378-6656.

Tennis Camp — June 28th-July 1st, 6:30-8:00pm, Ages 6-10, Cost $35.00 per session. Tennis courts at Anderson River Park. Taught by Anderson New Tech coach and team.

Football Camp — July 12-15, 6-7:30 p.m. at AUHS for youths in 2nd-8th grades. Camp cost of $35 includes camp T-shirt. Skills taught include basic fundamentals of football: running, stance, blocking, form tackling and more. For information, 356-6656.

Anderson Library Summer Reading Program — Thursdays, 3:30 p.m., at 3200 W. Center St., in Anderson. On July 1, program features Shasta Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation bringing animals. My Essence Workshops — Wednesday evenings 5:30-7:30 p.m. class in arts and crafts room in Anderson City Hall, 1887 Howard St. Participants learn about making and applying handmade body care products made at home. Exercise/Outdoors

Public swim — June 14 - Aug. 6, 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Anderson Union High School pool. $1.50 per person. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
