NAL All-League teams announced

The Northern Athletic League All-League Teams were announced earlier this week for boys and girls soccer and boys and girls basketball.

For Anderson's boys soccer team, Jordan Kaze (senior) and Zac Golden (junior) made the team. Big Blue finished the season 2-8-0.

For West Valley, Ray Close (senior) was the league's MVP and teammates Harold Stacey (junior) and Patrick Muller (sophomore) made the All-League Team. They finished the season 7-3-0.

For girls soccer, Yui Gabriele (junior) of Anderson made the team and Tiffany Bernal (junior) was an Honorable Mention. Anderson finished the season 4-6-0.

West Valley's Cassie DeBonis (senior), Taylor Lambert (senior), and Jesse McPhetridge (sophomore) made the All-League team, while Ashley Moebes was an Honorable Mention. West Valley finished the season 8-1-1 and also took the NAL title which is the first ever for the girls soccer team at the high school.

In boys basketball, All-League Team honors went to Zach Guibergia (senior) of Anderson and Tyler Stevenson (senior) of West Valley. Ryan Metcalf (senior) was an Honorable Mention for the Cubs, while both Casey Duenas (sophomore) and Garrett Phelps (junior) received an Honorable Mention for the Eagles.

Anderson finished their season with a record of 2-8, while West Valley finished their season 6-4.

For the All-League Team in girls basketball, Megan Leitem (junior) of Anderson and Amy Westaby (senior) of West Valley made the team for their schools.

Ashley Vitellaro (senior) and Marleigh Ostrom (sophomore) both Lady Eagles received an Honorable Mention, along with Lady Cub Emily English (sophomore).

West Valley and Anderson both finished 5-5 in the NAL.
