Two wrecks reported on I-5 overpass in Anderson

Authorities are responding to a pair of wrecks reported this morning on the overpass at north-bound Interstate 5 near the Factory Outlets exit.

Three vehicles were involved in one of the wrecks, reported at 6:38 a.m. just north of Deschutes Road. At least one person is injured.

A passenger car hit the guard rail and then a big-rig, according to a witness account on the California Highway Patrol's incident report Web site.

One lane was blocked but reported clear at 6:55 a.m.

The second wreck, involving a red Ford Focus in the center divider, was reported just at 6:44 a.m. just south of Deschutes. There are no injuries reported in the second wreck.
