A Cottonwood man is in the Tehama County Jail after he allegedly used a baseball bat to smash windows at his ex-wife’s home on Bowman Road.
Darren Lee Swindle, 44, was arrested and booked on suspicion of felony vandalism on Thursday.
Swindle’s ex-wife, Tamara Lynn Winters, 37, called Tehama County Sheriff’s deputies. Swindle was later found walking along Bowman Road in Cottonwood.
Winters was not injured.
Deputies discovered that Swindle had used a bat that he found at Winters’ home.
Swindle is being held in lieu of $10,000 bail.
