A 63-year-old Anderson man drove his motorcycle into the back of a white pickup truck on McMurry Drive in Anderson at about 12:20 p.m. on Monday, March 15.
The truck was stopped to turn left onto Ganyon Drive when Buchanon's motorcycle collided with it, according to Anderson Police Department Officer Casey Day.
The motorcyclist, David John Buchanan, suffered apparent minor abrasions according to Anderson Fire Protection District Fire Marshal Howard Fincher.
Buchanan was taken by ambulance to a hospital and medically cleared shortly thereafter.
