After an intense semi-final match against Mount Shasta the Lady Cubs lost 4-3 after 10 innings, they moved on to play Hayfork for third place in the 3rd Annual Cub Classic small school tournament.
On Saturday afternoon at Big League Dreams, Anderson battled against the Timberjacks, looking to place third in their own tournament.
The Lady Cubs took an early lead over Hayfork, 3-1. Anderson would add five runs to their lead in the third inning and then one more run in the fourth.
The Timberjacks were only able to score one more run in the fourth, before the game ended at the top of the fifth with the Lady Cubs winning, 9-2.
