The West Valley freshman football team defeated Shasta High School 42-21 during their season opener at home on Thursday, Sept. 2.
Both teams played a strong game, but the Wolves just couldn't find a way to keep the Eagles from soaring.
West Valley's freshman team scored three touchdowns within the first 15 minutes of the game. The Eagles continued to run and pass the ball to victory.
