The Valley Post, government offices and banks will close Monday, Dec. 26, when the Christmas holiday is observed one day late.
Anderson City Hall and all Shasta County offices will be closed and the U.S. Postal Service will not deliver mail on that day.
Trash collection services will be delayed one day throughout the week starting Dec. 26 and again during the week of Jan. 2.
Some businesses will also be closed Monday, although most retailers are expected to open for Christmas returns.
The Valley Post will reopen Tuesday, Dec. 27, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
