Hanna Emmen
Hanna Emmen, a 2009 West Valley High School graduate, recently signed her letter of intent to continue her soccer career at Warner Pacific College in Portland, Ore.
Although she participated on successful softball and volleyball teams at West Valley, her main focus was soccer.
She was a goalie for West Valley and was named to the 2009 Northern Athletic League All-League soccer team.
Hanna then went on to play goalie for the Shasta College Knights women’s soccer team.
In 2010 she was named as one of the College’s Student-Athletes of the Week and received Golden Valley Conference All-League honors.
While at Shasta College, Emmen was invited to participate in a soccer showcase in Los Angeles.
She will study exercise science, health and nutrition at Warner Pacific College.
Her new soccer team, also the Knights, will travel to British Columbia in August to participate in a soccer tournament.
