I often think, “What a wonderful world this would be if all of mankind would just follow laws—both God’s and mankind’s.”
God’s first, of course, because man is subject to making errors. Man’s laws must agree with God’s laws. God’s laws are the bases of all good laws. They were inscribed on the stone tablets, God’s Ten Commandments (also laws), and were given to Moses to bring down the mountain for the people.
I wonder at people who deny God’s existence. It’s true, they can not see God in physical form. So, to them, He doesn’t exist. They can’t seem to believe in the tremendous power that controls all that we call nature.
People who live in cities see little of nature and the multiple miracles of the Earth that surround us. They see man-made things, while the miracles of God are seen only by the results of His works.
I hear people say they don’t believe in God, or of a supreme, or superior power. I wonder whether these people ever think of the chaos that would ensue if some unknown power or being hadn’t made plans and rules for the creation of all living things, including the things necessary to sustain life.
Growing up on a ranch, my lessons in biology were living, introduced early. Having both similarities and differences in the various animals — reptiles and insects — has to be far beyond mere coincidence. Darwin credited evolution for the similarities, but his theories have yet to be proven. It took real thought and planning to prevent total chaos, rather than the order we see in nature. Rather than “evolved”.
No, I have not seen God either. Working with living creatures, examining them inside and out, watching the life process, there is no way evolution could develop without an intelligent mind producing and guiding the process.
People disagree? So be it. There are other theories, but the Ten Commandments are His laws that all should heed. No one can deny following God’s laws will not benefit mankind.
