Rabies clinic May 19 at Redding City Hall

A rabies vaccination day for dogs will be held Thursday, May 19, 9 a.m.- noon at Redding City Hall south lawn, said Dr. Ray John, Haven CEO.

City Hall is located at 777 Cypress Ave. in Redding.

“Rabies vaccinations are only $6 at this event, giving pet owners a significant savings,” said Dr. John.

After that, the next rabies clinic is set for Saturday, June 4, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Haven Humane Society, 7449 Eastside Road during the Dog-A-Thon Festival.

City of Redding dog licenses are available at Haven Humane Society, 7449 Eastside Road and Dana Park Veterinary Hospital, 1405 Bradford Way in Redding. If you live within Anderson city limits, the Anderson Police Department will license dogs. If you live outside of city limits, licenses can be obtained through Shasta County.
