For the seventh straight year, a small thrift store on Highway 273 in north Anderson is making a difference.
Wanda Leach, owner/operator of Junk-N-Treasures, personally delivered more than 500 gently used coats to the Good News Rescue Mission Friday, Nov. 18.
“These coats will protect the needy in our community from the bitter cold in the weeks ahead,” said Ken White, director of community relations for the mission.
Junk-N-Treasures is located at 19474 Hill St., off State Highway 273 between Redding and Anderson.
