The West Valley New Years Hoops girls’ basketball tournament kicks off today.
Eight teams from around the North State will gather at the West Valley gym to battle it out for the championship during the three-day competition.
Shasta and Central Valley will open the tournament with their game today at 3:30 p.m. Red Bluff will face off against Anderson at 5 p.m. and West Valley will take on Orland at 6:30 p.m.
Capping off the opening round is Gridley and Lassen at 8 p.m.
