Coleman Fish Hatchery offering volunteer guide training Sept. 20

Coleman National Fish Hatchery, 24411 Coleman Fish Hatchery Road, in Anderson needs volunteer guides.

Individuals interested in joining the hatchery’s Friends group as volunteer tour guides should plan on attending an 8 a.m. orientation session on Friday, Sept. 20, at the hatchery, suggested Bill Terschuren, vice president of the Friends Group.

More than 80 schools schedule field trips to the hatchery each year during salmon spawning season.
