Minoletti’s Tires lost in flames

Anderson Fire Protection District responded to a fire after 11:32 p.m. July 25 at Minoletti’s Tires, located at 6076 Highway 273 in Anderson. The building was in flames when firefighters arrived, according to fire chief Joe Piccinini. Full story »
Fire Update: Gusty, 35 mph NW winds expected for Wednesday

Cal Fire has designated Wednesday as red flag warning for fire weather, with winds from the northwest expected to gust up to 35 miles an hour. One cabin was reported lost in the Moon fire, which is affecting the Platina/Ono area. As of 11 a.m. Wednesday, Cal Fire reported having lost ground against the fire, having demoted its containment to 42 percent. Full story »
