LOOKING FOR SUPPORT - The Cottonwood Teachers Union (CTU) held up signs Friday on the sidewalk by the Holiday Market shopping center on Gas Point Road in Cottonwood. The signs asked for passerbys to “honk” in support of issues “of unit verification” and “movement on the salary schedule.” The CTU is in the process of filing a second lawsuit against the district. Their first lawsuit is at PERB (Public Employment Relations Board) and the second lawsuit will be filed in Shasta County Superior court.
