Seventeen-year-old Loren Bebensee of Redding, a member of the California High School Rodeo Association, placed 8th in the queen competition at the National High School Rodeo Association Finals, held in Gillette, Wyo. in July.

Nathaniel Jenkins of Anderson is on his way back to Fort Worth, Texas for the second time, to compete in the World Finals in the Senior Steer Riding. Nathaniel, 12, returned last year from the finals, ranked 24th in the world.
