  • Anniversary Celebration: At the library anniversary party, deep-felt thanks and a plaque were presented to Mary O'Keeffe, outgoing board member of the Cottonwood Community Library for her 15 years of dedication and service to the library.   • busy bees: Travis Finck got to dress up in an authentic beekeeper's suit to see what it feels like to be hands-on with the bees. The children also got to see a demonstration using a smoker after the stories about bees were read.
  • Unloading the goods: A driver from Sala Trucking hooks up the hoist lines to the new metal break as it is being prepared for unloading from the truck.
  • HAPPY CAMPERS: Neighbors seated on camp chairs enjoyed a cookout at the end of Sorrel Street for National Night Out. Robin Boban, standing, won the prize barbecue set for arranging the best block party.
