Clay Walker headlined an 8 p.m. concert at the Shasta District Fair and packed the grandstand seating. The 1,000 VIP seating area with an additional $15 entry fee sold out on Tuesday, June 15.
Elsewhere at the fair on Friday, the Taiko Drummers from Mt. Shasta performed. The little pigs raced. The amusement rides enthralled. The carnival operators enticed. The weather cooperated. The parking lots filled up. And the fair enjoyed a good day, said Chris Workman, chief executive officer of the 27th Agricultural District
