  • ALL FIRED UP:
Teachers, administrators, and parents participate in the “Day for Students” held statewide on March 3 to help gain support for education and to show government officials that the public is tired of the budget cuts.
  • ALL AROUND COWBOY:
Jordan Spears of Redding hangs on to his bareback horse for the ride of his life at the Inter-District Rodeo in Red Bluff, Feb. 27 and 28. After competing in bareback riding, bull riding and team roping, Jordan won the highest award among approximately 75 high school cowboys from around the state — All Around Cowboy.

  • Drew DiPrima:
After four seasons playing for Anderson High School, Drew DiPrima was named All League Tailback for the 2009 season and awarded the Harlow Magnussen Award award, in which the recipient is nominated and voted on by his teammates.
