How cool! Anderson's version of Club Cougar.I hope there's more info and news coverage for this.I'll have to attend since these kids undoubtedly worked their tails off for this. See you there!
Anderson wins AGAIN! I can't imagine the loops CDF would have to jump through to build in Redding! Redding is turning into a ghost town with all the empty expensive buildings while Anderson continutes to SUPPORT new growth! Good on ya, Anderson!
I see in today's (Friday) Record Searchlight that they stand by the accusation that the investigation by Purcell cost the district $41,000. Hopefully Mr. Purcell will take legal action against these allegations if they are false....it IS a matter of public information.Regardless, the foundings of the investigation are amazing! This schmooze eveidently got away with a lot for a LONG time and needed to be brought down.
Having a hard time swallowing, Valley Post? You were always there to keep the interest going on this story but obviously didn't know what you were reporting. Now that you're set straight I think you need to run a very appologetic article....to say the least!
My sincerest condolances to the entire Doty family. Mr. Doty was an icon in the local community and will remembered as such. I first met him while attending Anderson High then continued working with him frequently while he clergied at weddings.Quite and intelligent man and he'll be remembered with great affection by many!
You need to get the EXACT reasons from the ones responsible on the Anderson end! Why Anderson would forfeit such a money-maker is definately under question. Would the fairgrounds not give the loggers a 'deal' on the rent or what? Looking forward to hearing what you found out.
Brazilian in Anderson??? I'm sure RAY is still in his building and doubtful he likes the new transformation, but HEY, good luck to ya! Sure will miss stopping by there and seein' all the old timers and their cowboy hats!
