you would think after all the years this woman has spent in this place, people like schaefer morgan and the others on the council would know about her antics, and promoting herself as something she is not, nor capable of. i can't hardly believe they wouldn't, but i can't hardly believe they would continue supporting her.
why don't you guys hold this person accountable?! why allow the police dept, to be the butt of jokes because of the management or lack of it. why not do what you are supposed to and manage the dept. bring in someone or promote someone who is capable of both doing the chief's job, and whom the folks that work under the cheif, Respect! i'm partial to promotion with in, because it gives employees a reason to stay under these restrictive/primitive conditions. the only reason webb was promoted, was because he knew someone, not because of what he knew. the people who work for him knew that and know that. he's a goof. he's afraid.. he's incapable.
if hes so capable, why did he hire back a guy who was under investigation, and left, because of it? incompetance comes to mind
and you guys are allowing it in the council as well. shame on you.

mr schaefer where is your leadership abilities, where is that commitment to the public as well to the people who work for you? where has the honor/integrity in being a police man gone as well a civic leader? in your case a mayor as well a copper. double the honor/integrity. be who you are suppossed to be and have always said you are. a leader! a mayor, a cop! stop being the good ole boy and start being the man you need to be. there are lots of people who work for you who know the problems and there are several who are gone who would gladly tell you the problems. all you need to be is the man you were elected to be.

i wonder when apd is really understaffed, not that they aren't already, because they are, but when the crunch really hits, if mr butch will come running. if the chief will. maybe the council will help, just incase the bat phone should ring at 0330? i wonder even more if the officials/leaders even care? probably the best place for the chief is at dunken donuts.
you guys oh, and woman need to watch what is happening to your employees. they're drowning in ineffective and incompetent management. not all, but the police sure are.

they are real good folks reporting, i find most of the time. maybe they just won't get the inside info.
